Yes, I understand the title is somewhat contradictory but how else am I going to convey how bright and alive this menu is? It nearly burns your eyes (but that good kind of eye burn). Included in the PSD are two straight menus (960px and 800px wide) as well as a unique curved top menu (960px wide). Hurry up and get the download.

Seriously, try them, they’re delicious. With just minimal HTML, they’re already compatible with most websites and can replace a standard link with the addition of a single class. A bit of magic makes them look good in all modern browsers and have a realistic push button active effect. I created and tested this slider to work in any browser and with any a lot of potential different configurations. If JavaScript isn’t supported, it degrades gracefully to display the full content in an alternative (yet still attractive manner). It’s styled almost entirely in CSS3 and supported in IE using PIE (progressive internet explorer) and using a neat little JavaScript function to generate the noise background (again with a fallback image for non-JavaScript setups). A New Skin for SimpleSli.de

I’ve been a huge fan of SimpleSli.de ever since it first came out. It’s a slider so simple that it requires virtually no setup and is very hard to break. I’ve used it in countless projects, ported it to WordPress and recently, coded a new skin for it from a design by Paul Mackenzie.
